We always get fascinated by the reason each couple chooses Greece as their wedding destination! In Catherina & Martin’s case though, the choice was rather easy, as the bride is half Greek! So, here they are, planning their wedding in Thessaloniki all the way from Sweden, reaching out to us!

And we couldn’t be more grateful for working with them and helping them creating their unique wedding concept, as they posed the greater challenge ever; the bride’s sister was also getting married in Thessaloniki, at the same venue, just a few days earlier and we were also their wedding planners. But more to that later!

Their dream was an elegant wedding with some rustic touches. White and dusty pink flowers, combined with eucalyptus and olive leaves created an unbeatable decoration! What stole the show was the amazing bulb lights installation, hanging above the reception tables.

The ceremony was so romantic and full of emotions, set-up with a wooden flower arch and a white petals aisle. The guests were also handed fans, to cool down from the Greek August heat. The wedding reception was multi-cultural, combining customs of so many ethnicities. A surprise piano performance by the groom’s brother and the video presentation of the father of the bride surely were the highlights!

Needless to say, they kicked off the party with fireworks and it was wild, dancing until morning hours!
